Felix Frankfurter, 1882-1965. Associate Justice, United States Supreme Court, 1939-1962. Typed Letter Signed, F.F., one page, 5¾" x 9", on stationery of the Supreme Court of the United States, Washington, D.C., February 25, 1939. With handwritten postscript. Frankfurter likely writes to thank a correspondent for congratulations on his appointment to the Supreme Court a month earlier. In full: "Just a word of warm appreciation for your kind words." In a handwritten postscript, he adds: "I hope all goes well with you!" This letter is in very fine condition, with normal mailing folds, one of which touches the postscript, and a slight crease across the upper right corner. Frankfurter has boldly signed it and penned the postscript in black fountain pen. One of the mailing folds touches the postscript. Unframed. _____________
