George Walker Bush, 1946–.  43rd President of the United States, 2001–2009.  Program from a presidential reception boldly signed, in person, George W. Bush.

This is a program from the Utah State Reception in honor of President Bush at the opening of the XIX Winter Olympic Games at Salt Lake City on February 8, 2002.  Hence Bush signed it as President.

This engraved program is printed in blue, with a beautifully embossed gold presidential seal at the top.  Bush has signed the cover with a bold, 4" black signature.  The inside of the program contains a biography of Bush, the evening's program, and other historical materials relating to presidential visits to Utah.  The program is bound with a gold cord and tassel, the latter of which does not appear in the scans below. 

This piece is absolutely pristine and an an extra fine example of Bush's presidential signature.
