This is a pristine half title page that Truman autographed for binding into the signed limited edition of his 1960 book Mr. Citizen. Like most authors, Truman signed extra pages in case some were damaged in the bookbinding process. Those that were not needed for the limited edition were later offered on the autograph market.
Truman has boldly signed this one in black fountain pen. The page is in extra fine condition.
The signature, with the printed limitation information above, has been attractively double matted in acid-free black and camel suede with a portrait of Truman. It is framed under conservation glass in an ornate gilt frame to an overall size of 11½" x 14¾".
