Theodore Roosevelt

Theodore Roosevelt, 1858-1919.  26th President of the United States.  The White House card signed, Theodore Roosevelt.  Dated May 1, 1907, on the back in another hand.

This card is in excellent condition.  It has almost unnoticeable toning on the front from prior framing.  The toning appears darker in the scan below than it does on the card itself.  The card rates a 9, or close to it, on a 10-point scale.

We custom framed this card.  It is richly double matted in garnet suede, with an inlaid gilt fillet, along with a presidential portrait photograph of Roosevelt and an engraved brass plate.  It is framed in an ornate gilt wood frame.
