Calvin Coolidge
John Calvin Coolidge, Jr., 1872–1933. 30th President of the United States, 1923-1929. Engraved The White House card signed Calvin Coolidge, and engraved White House vignette also signed Calvin Coolidge. Both are signed in black fountain pen.
The card is in extra fine condition. The 6½" x 3¾" vignette engraving shows the north portico of the White House from the east, with a horse and carriage in the driveway. It is on cream colored card stock and is in very fine condition.
The two pieces have been exquisitely double matted in black suede with an inlaid gilt fillet, a photograph of Coolidge seated in the Oval Office, and an engraved brass identification plate. The piece is framed in a black wood frame.
