Stephen Grover Cleveland, 1837-1908.  Governor of New York, 1883-1884; 22nd President of the United States, 1885-1889; 24th President of the United States, 1893-1897.  4½" x 2¾" Executive Mansion card boldly signed, Grover Cleveland.

This card likely dates from the first term of Cleveland, the only person ever to serve two non-consecutive terms as President.  Most of Cleveland's undated Executive Mansion cards, as this one is, were signed during his first term. Cleveland has signed this with a large 2¾" signature as well, and his first-term signatures were generally larger than those that he signed during his second term.

This Executive Mansion card is in very fine condition, with only slight soiling, which is not as pronounced as the scan suggests, and minor mounting traces on the back. Cleveland has boldly signed it in black.

Unframed.
